Hi my dreamers,
I hope October has started well for you 😃
Today I am writing this article to tell you about my visit to the Dior gallery that I wanted to visit to admire the dresses 😍 because who doesn’t like dresses?! I won’t show you everything but only my favorite outfits.
The exhibition
The visit begins with the ascent to the floor by an elevator. We enter a room where we learn a lot about Christian Dior.
For the first 20 minutes, everything was going great, then there was a power outage until the end of my visit 🙁 I couldn’t fully enjoy the exhibition and take pictures like I wanted to (hence the quality of some photos, sorry) but the daylight, and the night mode of my smartphone helped me a lot. The team offered either to come back for free in the coming days or to receive a refund (€12) I opted for a refund of my entry ticket, which I received very quickly.
Anyway, I appreciated that at some point during the visit, it was possible to talk to an employee in a blouse who answered our questions, showed us historical photos, and told us anecdotes.
Christian Dior
Firstly, I was dazzled by all these magnificent dresses. Secondly, this exhibition allowed me to get to know the designer better. Since this exhibition, I like Maison Christian Dior more. When I saw the outfits on the mannequins, I didn’t think “these are luxury outfits that only radiate wealth and inaccessibility”. I rather thought “these are THE perfect dresses that we could not have described but that we would all dream of wearing one day”.
Moreover, to me, Christian Dior seems to deeply love and respect women, with a disinterested desire to make them as beautiful as possible, in such feminine and elegant outfits. Simplicity and sumptuousness, far from provocation, superficiality, and banality.
Now, I let you admire the outfits and tell me what you think 🙂 What is your favorite one?
Personally, it’s the J’adore dress my favorite, then the feather one ❤️
