Hello my dreamers,
in this third travel post on my month-long trip to Vietnam in 2016, I will quickly tell you about my visit to the sumptuous Ninh Binh province located in the northeast of Vietnam but before that, here are the other articles I have written about Vietnam:
I would say that except Ha Long Bay in Quảng Ninh Province, what is also unavoidable is Ninh Binh Province (where there is Ha Long Bay on land), located about 120 km south of Hanoi.
“The difference between Tam Coc and Trang An?”
There, you can visit Hoa Lu, take a boat trip to visit Tam Coc or Trang An, where you will pass under the impressive karst caves. If I remember correctly it was cheaper in Trang An but in one or the other, it didn’t even cost 5 €. The difference between Tam Coc and Trang An? I remember that at Tam Coc, the lady who drove the boat, used her feet (wow), we were 2 passengers in the boat, there were a lot fewer people, it was “smaller”, the ride was shorter and we passed under far fewer karst caves. In Trang An, there were a lot of tourists and ladies (many were old :/) to drive the boats in which we were 4 passengers with life jackets, the path was wider, the ride was longer and more beautiful to watch I think.
Finally, if there is a pagoda to visit, it is Bai Dinh which is the largest pagoda in Vietnam and accessible for free. This pagoda contains the largest bronze statue bearing the effigy of Buddha, as well as a divinity with a thousand eyes or a thousand arms.
And you, what do you think about Ninh Binh province?
